ith the announcement of the new AVP game, this puts us between a rock and a hard place; even more so now and greatly enhances our chance of getting “Foxed”. I talked with my team and we decided to move the Mod to the new AVP 2010 engine. Provided we get the tools and option for dedicated servers. However this is bittersweet for us because we have come so far with the code/maps and other aspects of the Mod. Let me tell you, coding wall-walking on the HL2 engine was not easy to pull off. Tons of hours went into that alone. Tron, Your the man! Secondly I would like to address the HL2 community and our followers. Simply put, you guys rock! Thank you so much for all your support and encouragement in your comments. I truly hope you will follow us to the new engine. I'm sure the new rebellion game is going to ROCK! The good news in all of this is by moving to the new engine we could bypass all the legal troubles and other stuff and just focus on the Mod.

However we face yet another problem, a BIG problem. There is talk of AVP not having dedicated servers and going the Call of duty MW 2 way. We can't let this happen. It would kill any chances for Mod's to be made on this engine and any other game engine that goes this way. PLEASE take the time to voice your opinions on their official Forums located here: Forums.sega.com

Again thank you for all your support and stop by our website for future updates.
